Update Importing the zip from curse into MultiMC did download the mods and import correctly. I was under the impression from their github issues that it didn't work currently.

It looks like the special characters are being escaped twice incorrectly. I know, but I haven't seen Vazkii reply anything in this github for the last 4 months.
