Mega files wont download correctly
Have just lost 24 files. Will have to remember to back up the folder. This issue soon will be a year old, but I still get stuck sync for several not so big files. I see no reason for a paid subscription with such a poor support. I suppose they do file protection only if you pay for the account, like business accounts. I guess for free, personal accounts you don't have any protection Then it seems to be bad marketing - as a potential customer I see it failing at very basic functionality and doubt it will not fail with paid account.
Yeah, I reported the issue in Sept and it never got resolved. After facing tons of trouble, I finally had to just switch to a different service for my cloud sync and backup. Sad to see that the issue is still unresolved. Happens to me all the time, especially, when syncing on a laptop that hasn't been used for a while at a time.
The only solution so far, is to touch the files on the device I know they synced fine before, that kinda rattles it all up and the syncing then runs fine for a while - untill the next time this happens i. Same here, raised an issue You should see some reason given why it can't process it, such as it has been modified recently and MEGAsync is waiting for it to be stable, or some other process has it open in a way that means MEGAsync can't read it.
If the reason given is not clear or is incorrect, please post details here. This reply is at least one year late. Last week I close my mega account because of this issue. I couldn't try this because the transfer quota is really small these days around 2gb. Someone suggested in that forcing a full scan solves the issue.
I don't know if this will work for me because I'm downloading a folder, not syncing. You may download MEGA 5. Most Mac users have reported positive experiences when using MEGA using the Wineskin wrapper and installer that we provide. However, we also have recieved feedback from some Mac users that have experienced stability issues.
If you are one of the Mac users who experiences problems with the wrapper that we provide, there are alternative options for running MEGA on a Mac system. For instance, MEGA can be run using virtualization or emulation software. Tree Explorer may not map mouse clicks correctly when DPI scaling is used.
This problem is solved by changing the download path to a valid one. To do this, open the MegaDownloader configuration by clicking on Options , and then, on Configuration. From this moment on, all downloads will be saved in the chosen directory and the error will have disappeared.
Another frequent error is that of an invalid link. The first thing you should do, if you encounter this problem, is to check that you have written or copied the link correctly. And the little wait at the bottom doesn't seem to do anything either because I'll come back later and still get the same popup.
Are you guys still able to download albums from mega. Looking at the threads it seems everyone else is downloading just fine without any limits. Mega has a dl limit for unregistered users, free registered users and then PRO, as you can see on your own screenshot. I get that sometimes. Which is why I try to download from mega only the stuff I can't find anywhere else.
Now that I think about it I recently switched to firefox. Would that really have an effect? I'll try on chrome. Now I get this. So it seems to be downloading but it's going to make me wait 8 hours or so to resume it.
But since I closed the link it'll probably just restart if I go back to it later. I'll wait and see. I've never had to use MegaDownloader. I downloaded a lot from mega in the past. I think MEGA did change something. Now if only people would stop uploading with mega now but doesn't seem to be the case.
There's a limit, it gets better if you register but it's still not great. If you close the page, it'll restart so it's a pain the ass. My advice is wake up early as fuck and start the download then wait the necessary time until you can carry on again.
